Pros

Pay was decent and set hours was a plus

Cons

Being yelled at b customers because battery changes aren't free. There's strict metrics to not roll trucks. But it's hard to keep that number low when you care about customer service and most of the rest do not. Others will bounce callers around the moment in home service is requested. I've had clients bounced around 5x before they got to me so they weren't even willing to troubleshoot. ADT refuses to address the issue. They say they are when brought up to management in meetings but there's always an excuse that new people are being trained so that's why or they've got a system in place to see why transfers are so high. Same song and dance for years without improvement.

Pros

Theres plenty of OT, work from home

Cons

The metrics are impossible and will get you written up if you arent meeting them. Everyone knows this but nothing is changing which is why there is a huge turn over rate for entry level agents You're tech support, billing, account management. And youre ecmxpected to have calls under 4 min average. IMPOSSIBLE. when some of the processes 20 mins. Youre micromanaged. I personally feel they dont care about their employees or their customers its always about the bottom line. No shift bid.

Boundless Incompetence

Pros

I met some genuinely great recruiters during my time there.

Cons

If it was not for the people I met while working there I wouldn't have a single positive thing to say. My time at ADT was easily the single worst recruiting experience I have had in my career. The job was to hire full commission salespeople at an unsustainable pace with absolutely no process or high volume tools to recruit effectively. The sales recruitment leadership there is astoundingly incompetent, they do not know what to do with professional employees. They would claim they had no interest in building an agency style recruitment department while simultaneously making decisions that were hurling the department towards that structure. They wanted agency level workload with compensation that doesn't even come close to what they were asking for. Their complete lack of self-awareness made itself clear with each passing day. Between that and the sheer nepotism they operate with, I cannot recommend any recruiter spending a significant amount of time working for ADT.
