Pros

Run. Just run. As fast as you can.

Cons

Management? If you enjoy severe micromanagement, you'll love it) Money? Even the top 25% are practically starving. Flexible schedule? This should be a pro, but it's not. You belong to ADT from 8am to 10pm M-S. Tedious and counterproductive tasks are required daily and take time away from what you should be doing.

Pros

-Pay is great -Growth is always possible -Benefits

Cons

-Never the same answer from 2 or more supervisors -No loyalty to employees -No recognition for being good to customers, only scolded for using discounts -Everchanging, nothing ever the same for too long, from upper management to departments and policies -Point system for attendance and performance, no room for human error -Managers/Team leads tell you dealing with customers requesting a manager is your job and you are to deescalate and make their jobs easier (not in the job description)

Pros

It is a job in today's economy. My fellow employees were nice, but as they say: misery loves company.

Cons

I was there 7 years, the raises were pathetic, if given at all (I had not gotten a raise for several years for different reasons) They were hiring new employees at more than I was making after my 7 of mostly good years. The vacations are set up such that you can have 3 weeks, but if you need to use it early in the year - you are out of luck, no matter how long you have been there. You can lose your job if you are out with the flu early in the year and get sick again later, they do not except Dr. notes, not even a note from the emergency room, "they can be faked for a vacation day" So the big thing is being termed for sick day abuse because they do not have to pay unemployment for that. They fight tooth and nail against paying out that, and when I was there (as of June 2014) they were not supportive of the outbound opers, the ones who handled the actual alarms, they seem to build all perks, and promotions around the "Inbound ops" who offer tech support. They also have an unrealistic to most compliance rule, if you have a weak bladder, forget about it, well you can't drink at your desk unless it is in a capped cup, and no food only hard candy (FYI - M&M's -to them- are not hard candy. they melt, lol) "Nuff said??
