Coworkers inside of the practice, doctors and patients make the day to day work pleasant.

Company claims to be people first and they are the exact opposite. All they care about is sales, and making numbers look as good as they can so they can sell the company off to another private equity or insurance company for as much money as they can. Upper management has been pulled from places like LensCrafters, MyEyeDr, and Visionworks and is turning us into a carbon copy of those companies. We are losing our identity and individuality which is what made most of the practices AEG purchased so successful. Upper management plays favorites and is only critical of the employees who don't agree with their every word. Managers are expected to be reachable 24/7, the amount of communication that is required to be a manager is obscene you would think you were running a fortune 500 company. Texts, phone calls, emails, a Whatsapp group message and weekly manager Microsoft team calls. And only upper management is offered a cell phone reimbursement. This company employees a large amount of female employees and offers absolutely no maternity leave which is an absolute embarrassment. I would strongly suggest anyone interested in working here to explore other options.
