Pros

A fun and family atmosphere where hard work is rewarded. Lots of experience in the office and everyone works together as a team

Cons

Competing market that is alway on so the competition pushes you to work longer than you would want sometimes. This competition can also be rewarding.

Pros

A very experienced Operations and Sales staff, which was nice for working around issues and tailoring solutions.

Cons

Not much in the way of innovation or changing with the times. Was told that we didn't need laptops for Sales because when the Branch Manager did the same job laptops hadn't been invented yet and they "got along just fine." Heard they have gone through some changes.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Response

We fully agree that our company is staffed with experienced sales and operations professionals who work creatively to customize global supply chain solutions for our customers all over the world. Technology is an important aspect of innovation and AIT continually invests in a variety of software and hardware that impacts the entire organization. Also, AIT pursues innovation that goes beyond technology to take on many different forms across departments. For example, our Quality Assurance initiative includes the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program which helps drive process improvements for the organization. As for our teammates in Sales, the company provides every account executive with a smartphone, a desktop computer and a technology platform that allows for full secure network access from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Finally, individual offices and departments have the freedom to make investments in equipment as determined by their local business needs. Thank you for providing your feedback.

Pros

Certain managers and employees very helpful and very easy to work with. Good hours and a leave your work at work position.

Cons

Huge disconnect between upper management and the working staff. No involvement or communication from upper manager unless there is a problem or something of that nature. Pay raises are horrible and no profit sharing for over a year when they have plenty of money for games, paintings, and season tickets to all these different teams in Chicago (but never find the opportunity to give any of these tickets to employees). Focus is not on employees and they approach employees with the 'they can be replaced' mentality.
