Long hours, have to start 15 minutes before shift with no pay due to computers not working properly, mandatory overtime of 8-7pm shifts over Easter, vast majority of customers are rude and there is micro management. Overtime is often unpaid as it’s part of the culture. Total lack of training so you’ll be rushed on the phones even though you don’t fully know what you’re talking about (no fault of your own, there’s a lot to learn). At first they’ll say this won’t happen but it will. Blame culture too.

- Management has the most minimal amount of care for employees, their only concern is meeting targets. This may be fine in the short-term, but you will find it harder and harder to retain good staff. - The pay is far below what it should be, the work is hard and can consist of long hours, please only consider AJ Bell if you're looking for a stepping stone into finance, otherwise, look for somewhere with a better salary and better benefits. - Don't expect to receive any recognition for your hard work, but expect to be a scapegoat for when things go wrong.
