Pros
It’s a job that’s not fast food
Cons
I borrowed this from another review because it’s so true. “Claims is so micromanaged. Every team is like this. You're treated like a child. Theres no advancing unless you are a favorite. Its the lowest paid dept. Your raise depends on how much you're liked versus your job performance. Mcds and walmart makes more. The manager doesn't speak to anyone. She sits in her office. She doesn't socialize unless its with specific people. Havent had a raise in 2 years. The pay isn't worth the stress. They only see what you do wrong and not what you do right. Or they say you're doing but this and this and this is wrong.” The claims dept is a joke. And using of programs that are from the 90’s. No updated software. You always get told what you’re doing wrong and never in my yrs there was I told “Good Job”. You do not have the support from upper management when you need it. The pay is horrible. You are so heavily micromanaged. They put so much emphases on reports. They make you feel so little if you can’t write a college educated essay / report. They do not help you with problem employees. I lost my career because I felt alone and so much under appreciated. I could not deal with the stresses any longer. They worry solely about their stockholders. It’s a party when we made money for them. But our pay didn’t show it.
