Pros

The pay is reasonable for the position and assuming you maintain adequate production throughout the year you are eligible for quarterly bonuses.

Cons

This position is somewhat dehumanizing. You are treated like a number and the quality of your work is meaningless as the only thing that matters is pumping out as many cases as you can during the day. It is also very difficult to feel respected or trusted in any capacity here as only certain projects allow you to actually submit your own work, as QC will make unnecessary edits to innocuous items such as word choice or sentence structure to remove personality from your narratives and create a cookie cutter paper that you are required to blindly submit with your name on.

Pros

Compliance position if you are desperate, they will hire anyone.

Cons

Essentially a poorly run staffing agency. Low pay, toxic work environment. Hiring is done without discretion, as a result the majority of coworkers are unprofessional. Office operations are a well oiled mess (even the bathrooms), with no clear sense of leadership. CEO Frank seems incapable of sending a single company wide email without at least one glaring typo. Managers and QC analysts are largely passive aggressive. Employee engagement attempts are laughable.

Pros

AML , as well as most industries, you "need experience to get experience." This company is willing to take a chance on smart people that have potential. Your career here is entirely what you make it. You have a unique opportunity to work on various different banks and MSBs while still staying with the same organization. There is a semi-flexible work schedule and the company has begun implementing bonuses and various other incentives. Great work environment with fun, supportive people who are always available to help if you reach out.

Cons

The pay is not as high as analysts with other companies BUT you have to understand the company's business model. AMLRS is designed to train entry-level analysts who otherwise would likely not have the opportunity to work in this industry. To the people complaining that they got the same percentage raise as everyone else -- maybe you should try negotiating. If you are a top performer (in terms of quantity and quality), then know your worth and take charge of your own career. Don't expect handouts. If you want more than a pat on the back, then start by asking.
