Pros

-Crews are excellent to work with -Benefits are fair -Pay is ok -Part time employees are allowed flexibility -Annual raise -Multiple locations available to work at

Cons

-Very poor management -people of authority use their titles to their advantage -very poor organization -Employees aren’t given room to advocate for themselves -When things aren’t done precisely their way it is considered wrong -No hesitation to issue write ups, instead of providing constructive feedback -Management team is very poorly organized -Getting vacation or schedule adjustments is a hassle -Expected to “know it all” with or without training -Authority figures push their roles creating a fearful and hostile work environment -Full time employment schedule is drastically less flexible -Part time employees are paid less, regardless of if they meet full time hours but need flexibility for school

Pros

There are some good, talented non-managers that you will get to work with.

Cons

First, there is no career path here. Many people have been doing the same job for years, and when they show initiative about wanting to pick up a new skill management ignores them. There is no training opportunities that you will get. Most departments in IT are significantly short staffed, and because of that expect to work insane hours. The end result of that is a large chunk of the staff is burnt out at this time. Second, as an IT employee understand that working from home is (in many groups) not allowed on a regular basis. In some groups you will be expected to come in during heavy snowstorms. The most important thing that seems to be coming down from management is that you are in the office, and following the dress code. The benefits are overpriced, the 401k vesting period for employer match is 4 years. With the split from Envision, they killed off the bonus program, which has also hurt employee morale. Essentially everything that seemed OK before the split has gotten much worse. Overall, I can't recommend you avoid this company enough.
