Pros

- This is a company that has been on a huge growth curve over the years. Having only a few hundred employees, everybody counts, and everybody has an opportunity to learn rapidly, with lots of opportunity for advancement. - I’ve seen a HUGE transformation in the company culture over the last few years. The executive team is now working much closer together, and are more aligned with the direction of their departments, as well as aligned with the direction of the company. This has positively pushed down to the lower levels of the organization, and has resulted in much better inter-departmental collaboration. - Performance versus politics has much more to do with individual success versus other companies that I have worked at. - The company cares about its employees more so than any other company that I’ve worked for. - Great teamwork - The company makes investments in their people to help them advance their careers internally.

Cons

- Very fast paced environment that requires employees to be able to change direction quickly as needed…as such, this environment will not be good for those that aren’t able to embrace change. - Accountability…again, if you struggle being held accountable for your actions and performance, then this isn’t the company for you. - Inter-departmental visibility. While the company has been improving on this dimension, the employees are currently split between two separate buildings, which makes it more difficult to collaborate with other departments.

Pros

Decent compensation and adequate facilities. They do not cheat or over charge their customers and offer an appealing array of products.

Cons

Little or no respect for anybody from the owner and CEO. Regularly berate and curseout workers and managers in front of their superiors, peers, and subordinates. No loyalty or common decency shown by top management to all but a few lower level workers.

Pros

* Extremely fast environment * good place for HOURLY employees * outstanding office areas * free daily lunches to a selected few (chosen by owner) * market driven (if this is a pro) * great collaboration amongst regular employees * outstanding customer service and delivery options of goods * very dedicated and hard working hourly employees * good bonuses selected personally by owner/President

Cons

* Upper management requires immediate supervisory and basic management training * Super micro-managed by President/Owner/Founder Scott Thomas, which is run by him and NOT by the CEO Michael Haynes. * Michael Haynes, CEO is a bright executive, but also him does not foster external training, it's all upon the employee to find what's required for him/her * President/owner has attacks the self-respect of other in front of peers. This applies to VP's and Director's as well - VERY EMBARRASING, to say the least. He has even embarrassed the CEO in front of employees and suppliers! * Lots of "brown nose's" (in management) * No formal training to exempts or hourly's, not even HR training * It is what the President/Owner says and NOT what the CEO or HR say/recommend * VP's do not last; even the HR VP resigned after 13+ months (demotivating factor to many of us who love this company and see our supervisors struggle and be demotivated and insulted in front of us by the owner/president) * NO empowerment of upper management * NO alignment of common goals amongst management * NO "Performance Reviews", which are true to its cause * NO written/measurable objectives, which are tracked
