ASICS reviews about "manager"

No cons, I had a good experience working for ASICS.

Bullying rampant. Senior managers do not care unless you are sales or marketing. Zero career progression.

Pay, Location, Bonuses, Holiday, Head office

- Infrequent and random shift timings - Not much else

Turnover rate, much like any other retail job. Retail schedule. Even management works some nights and weekends.

No corporate support. They didn’t care about the lack of employees and made stores open with one person working. Managers have to work over their scheduled time due to employees not showing or quitting. When we ask for help, it falls on deaf ears and the work load just increases. Communication lacked from upper management and all concerns were swept under the rug.

No commissions or much recognition for your work

I didn't even get to start with the company as they did not complete pre requisite checks prior to the contract being signed. It was a minor thing that could have been prevented however was not checked on their end when I was pushed to resign from my current job and sign the contracts to start the following week. Only for them to turn around and retract the offer over something preventable, leaving my unemployed. Extremely poor handling for HR with their response being 'I don't know what to say to you' when explaining they were leaving me jobless due to a careless mistake on their behalf. SO disappointed, had high hopes for the job and the company. Did not even hear from my line manager in all of this nor did I receive an apology for leaving me unemployed and mucking me around.

No raises given, feels second class to Asics company, expected to just work until it's done but no overtime and underpaid
