Manager (male) made some inappropriate comments to me (woman)

corporate is very unresponsive in general. They seem to be extremely tone deaf to the struggles at the store level. We voice our complaints about being short staffed and don't get any type of response at all. While we might not be the only company that is struggling to hire at the moment, just acknowledging our struggle would go a long way and they don't even do that. They offer very little incentives for sales associates and lower level store management, pay is easily 2-3 dollars below industry average currently for these positions. Management at the store level receive NO assistance for hiring. They have to rely on Facebook and other weird methods to recruit. District managers are only concerned about hiring store managers and that is it. Pay is not competitive and it makes hiring entry level positions nearly impossible.

Managers take their job too serious

No communication between head office and instore Visuals before a launch, so often faced problems on day of launch that head office hadnt thought about. Not enough product to support launches. Difficult colleagues including a manager who bullied myself and others to the point of leaving. Head office dont seem to want to get involved when this happens/

Bad gossip environment. I had a coworker who often bullied me and I didn’t do much about it but when my manager heard about it, they did nothing. Lots of drama out of nothing. Managers fired people who didn’t deserve it and kept people who did deserve it. Absolutely no training for my first 2 years working there. Which was sometimes embarrassing as customers would ask questions I couldn’t answer. Really disorganised management. When the bosses cut money, most of the casuals just automatically got no hours. They weren’t fired, but were just given 0 hours. I felt insecure about my job almost the whole time I worked there.

Working most weekends but it should be expected since its retail.

Not very nimble as they should be.
