Pros

The benefits are competitive, and the pay is fair for this industry. The people are good to work with and business is good, even in tough economic times. You can also move up the management chain quickly if you have a college degree. If you can manage a store you will make very good money and you can keep moving up from there. The managers are knowledgable because everyone has to go through their manager trainee program. They come up with good marketing strategies in order to boost sales and the job itself is easy to do if you put the time into it.

Cons

Sales Managers are pressured to SELL SELL SELL while Accounts Managers are pressured to COLLECT COLLECT COLLECT, and these opposite pressures conflict with each other. The Sales Managers will often approve people to rent who will not make their monthly payment, in order to get their bonus, and this screws over the Accounts Manager who can't possibly collect money from these people. They also need to become more advanced in their technology as sometimes customers who pay on time wind up on call lists and the customers are not happy receiving calls when they have already made their monthly payment.

Pros

If you are completely desperate and have no hopes of finding a job EVER...then this company is for you!

Cons

Where to start? Well I was brought in as a replacement for the regional manager who was managing me for several months! All the time I knew he was lame duck but could say nothing. He was eliminated for no good reason then I was placed into his awful position. Let's continue; first there's the thugish, lowlife middle and upper management that verbally curse at you daily, then there are the 6 day work weeks, then there are the wonderful ex-cons and welfare community who are your clientele, then there are the 14 hour workdays, etc, etc, etc.
