Needs better management

Pros

Get to work in a fast-growing industry, get your hands on multiple SIEM tools.

Cons

Upper management obviously only cares about the rapid expansion of the company and little to nothing about employees, extremely low moral underneath the executive team. During the year I worked there multiple good people were let go with little to no warning. I understand we are in an at-risk state but that does not give you the right to treat employees like nothing more than a capital gain. Even forcing the SOC to run at low staff but make sure when clients visit everyone is there regardless of their agreed upon schedule.

- Smaller company = smaller pay, however they do what they can to reward you ask they grow and as you grow

Pros

Young company, will probably be one of top security companies in a few years. I learned a lot of things immediately that were never taught in school. There are some key people have a lot of knowledge and experience. In all, it is a very fulfilling position. I was given a lot of responsibility right away. If you can prove yourself here, you can prove yourself anywhere.

Cons

Limited work space in office. Pay is pretty low compared with some companies. They demand a lot of you quickly without much training. They are still developing processes, so sometimes things can be chaotic.
