Pros

Good people to work with, every works really hard. Good communication and respect amongst team members. They listen to your feedback.

Cons

Lack of diversity especially in middle management. Ratio of product owners to software engineers is almost 1:1, which could lead to overwork or constant interruptions.

Thanks for the review and feedback. Our people and culture are our best asset and you acknowledge this in the review. As for diversity, I agree with you that we can always do better and we are committed to do so. We want to be the company everyone wants to join and no one wants to leave. We've started several employee resource groups which include the Abrigo Women's Group, Pride and Allies Group, and DARE (racial diversity). Members of the C-Team are exec sponsors on each. I am the exec sponsor for DARE. It's not the full answer, but one of the steps. For diversity, we are also focused on ensuring we have a welcoming and safe environment and culture. We also want to ensure we hire the best person for the job and that we are sourcing to ensure we fully cast the net to do so. Abrigo is also doing hiring manager training, interviewer training, and unconscious bias training. These are just some of the steps and I hope that helps any reader of the review with some facts and context. As for the ratio of developers to product owners, we strive to ensure that this ratio is balanced so that the developer has plenty of work coming in each sprint from the product owner. I'll work with our CTO to ensure we continue to do so. Thanks again for the review and all my best in the next phase of your career journey. Regards, Wayne Roberts Chief Executive Officer

Pros

Great products and innovation. Was created through a PE firm who purchased a handful of industry related companies to create Abrigo. Products are great. Sales organization is solid. Great internal resources and support to help salespeople win deals.

Cons

Being PE-driven, the acquisition, "inorganic growth" strategy has been somewhat turbulent. Acquiring some companies that are not as profitable as others causes more pressure on the higher performing legacy companies to perform better. EBITDA numbers rule the day so if the numbers aren't shining enough for stakeholders, drastic measures have been made, including terminations to save on OPEX.
