Pros

Wonderful inspiring professional colleagues who work hard and believe in what they do.

Cons

Unsafe staffing: 1) One RN to twenty-four (24) patients. 2) One Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to twelve high level acutely psychotic and potentially dangerous patients. 3) Behavioral Health Technicians hired off the street with no formal training or transferred from the kitchen with no other professional skills other than prepping salads or serving meals.

Pros

The neighborhood is really pretty.

Cons

The owner of the company, Joey Jacobs, hires his friends and then supports them no matter what. My CEO was the worst. He never left his office and didn't have a clue what was going on in the hospital. He would make fun of the employees behind their back. Constant turnover and manager changes didn't matter to corporate. It's really all about the bottom line. Patients are admitted based on who has the better insurance. The patients and the good employees suffer.

Pros

There are always interesting projects to work on and you have the ability to take on additional responsibility because there is so much work. My skill set and confidence grew substantially with this company. I found my role to be rewarding.

Cons

There is so much going on that prioritization is not used efficiently to manage workload. You work long hours without end. There is not much celebration or acknowledgement when milestones are reached or projects are completed.
