      Great people high burn out

      Pros

      It's an employee owned company so after 6 years if you stay that long when you leave they buy 100% of your stock at the current price

      Cons

      Training is in Lafayette sharing a room with 4 people 1 bathroom. High burn out long hours no family life. They care more about getting contracts then making sure they have enough staff. Your never going to get off on time. Benefits are high deductible and expensive your better off with Obama Care.

      Pros

      Great vision on what they want to be. Decent pay, could be more competitive. Great retirement in the ESOP. Middle management is good and tries have but are handcuffed by top administrators.

      Cons

      CEO does not entertain ideas from middle management. Only comments from Vice President and above are listened to. Upper management is totally out of touch with the reality of working on an ambulance or what is really important to the field medics. The CEO dictates the company priorities and nobody is willing to tell him when he is misguided.

      The pay is good and the job can be rewarding.

      Cons

      There is no formal training and the management refuses to acknowledge the glaring problems that incur because of it. I was left to basically train myself and when something was done incorrectly, it was somehow my fault for not knowing.
