Pros

- Flexibility when time away from the office was necessary - Managment ensured early releases prior to holidays - 75% of executive management was friendly and greeted employees in passing - Corporate facilities are very nice - Regularly catered meals (leftovers from meetings at Corporate offices) - Free parking

Cons

- Management does not utilize talent; multiple hires were overqualified and oversold on their job responsibilities in the inverview process - Communication is inadequate - Support functions are limited by the decisions of field operations - Many managers act unprofessionally - Decision-making is top-down and ideas are not solicited from the rank and file

Pros

Flexible schedule, good benefits, one on one patient care

Cons

AccentCare has a reputation for unrealistic productivity expectations as well as toxic nurse managers. They are first and foremost a business and your role as a nurse is to make them money. They are not shy about it. Some of the nurse managers will constantly nitpick everything you do and as a result this creates a high turnover environment.

We're glad you're enjoying the flexible schedule, good benefits, and one-on-one patient care. A nurse's role is not to make money. It's to care for patients. If you're being told differently, and if there are bad managers, please let our HR team know. We absolutely need to bill properly to be able to continue providing services that provide dignity, comfort and healing to patients, but we have people who work with Medicare and insurance companies so that you, as a nurse, can focus on caring for patients.

Pros

Holiday pay, HSA, 401k, that’s it

Cons

Pretty much everything, unrealistic expectations, traveling 25-45 in between patients with no pay, no overtime pay, low patient case loads most of the year, pay per patient only, no annual raises, no bonuses, horrible medical benefits, management and branch is horrific, evil people, constant lies from higher ups, no follow through, HR does absolutely nothing

Thank you for sharing your experience. AccentCare is guided by principles of integrity, compassion, and excellence, which shape how we care for both patients and employees. Field‑based roles do involve travel, and we understand the challenges that can bring. AccentCare offers market‑competitive pay, incentive opportunities, premium pay for overtime/holidays, and mileage reimbursement to support clinicians in these positions. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, mental well‑being support, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and holidays, all designed to support overall well‑being. We’re concerned to hear you felt unsupported by management or HR. Our values call us to honor our commitments and build trust, and feedback like yours helps us improve. Thank you again for your honesty. If you’re open to it, we’d welcome a conversation to better understand your experience and continue improving for our teams.
