This candidate is not an employee of Acclaim but a contractor and has been terminated for poor work ethics. Will argue and not work with the team and perform poorly. Basically wants everyone to follow but does not have the experience or knowledge to lead the efforts. Glassdoor should be reviewing the paystubs before letting anyone post comments. Not sure why this person claims to be an ex-employee!!!

Talented Team; Poor Management

Pros

I've met some of the most talented, professional, and friendly people working at Acclaim. That extends to the Clients that I had the privilege of working with. Working here, it's almost a guarantee that you will be welcomed with open arms by friendly co-workers who are always willing to lend a hand. The diverse culture is a breath of fresh air and I've had quite a pleasurable experience learning about all different types.

Cons

That brings us to the downsides of working at Acclaim, and there are a lot of them. To go over the important ones, the company is poorly managed, starting at the top. This leads to overworked employees, missed deliverables, and overall negative feedback from all involved. This is what seemed to be an endless cycle that I've experienced at Acclaim. Employees are not valued by the company which leads to feelings of unhappiness and dissatisfaction. Work stopped being enjoyable and felt more like a chore every day. These are the same feelings that were shared by every co-worker I've spoken to during my time there. Yes, every single coworker shared feelings of unhappiness working at Acclaim.

This person has put incorrect information regarding projects badly managed or missed deliverable as we are not aware. Even in these times, we have received more projects and have hired employees. Projects are fixed price and SLA's are involved and we cannot think of when we were penalized in last decade. This person is not only wrong but possibly a competitor or a terminated consultant (performance issues) being upset at our progress.

Acclaim does not do H1B unless required and I believe this person was fired as the person was always on either internet reading books or on phone. Acclaim does project on deliverable basis and such behavior is not allowed during normal working/business hours at office premises.
