Extreme Hostile Work Enviroment

Pros

Lots of overtime due to the companies inability to retain machinist.

Cons

The average machinist will last less than a year here due to the toxic culture of the company. The employees go around sabotaging one another in the filthiest ways possible, the mentality is if you know more than they do you will get discredited and trashed in endless attempts to get you fired so they can sustain and protect their positions. The alleged manufacturing engineers are just a bunch of failures that couldn't cut it at other shops so they also promote the cut throat culture described aboved, they never last long here either. Most the shops in the area have more than one employee that has passed through the extreme revolving doors of this asylum.

Sometimes the negative tone of a post is itself “toxic”. I think we have one of these situations here. Our workforce numbers are increasing not because of turnover but the expansion of our 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts. And like most large medical manufacturing companies in the USA we do offer relocation as a perk for potential new machinists. When a former employee targets a company with negativity and lies it is usually directed at leadership or working conditions. This review targets the men and women who work here every day and do outstanding work day in and day out. This is not acceptable. Acero Precision is proud of its workforce and believes that we have the best workforce in the business. Contrary to what the reviewer posted Acero has grown at a compounded annual growth rate of 11% and we have grown 24% since the time of this review. We have also grown from 70 staff to 100 ad believe that we have the finest most talented group of machinists in the area, many with us for more than 10 years.

I cannot find one positive thing to say in regards to this company

Cons

Just about everything I encountered after being hired. They certainly put on a good front but inside it was quickly apparent they border insane.

This is a fictitious review. Our HR Manager did not write this review and finds these comments to be not only false but in poor taste as well. Unfortunately, Glassdoor has no way to validate the reviews on their site, positive or negative, nor validate whether someone was actually employed and in the role they claim. Acero Executive Team

Everything listed on this site is correct with the experience I have had while working there. CEO doesn't know his own business

Cons

ceo doesn't know the business and tenured employees throw everyone else under the bus. You are belittled in front of others and yelled at on the floor

We agree, please read the scores of positives reviews, the sentiment from these happy employees is on point. This reviewer revealed as little as possible about themselves to avoid being embarrassed by this type of review. No company is perfect. We encourage and actively solicit feedback from employees, vendors and customers in an effort to improve our performance. To challenge the expertise of an owner and CEO with a track record for success is pointless and unsubstantiated. Acero has continued to grow and as previously posted we have grown 11 % compound annual growth rate 20 years in a row. Through the financial crisis in 2007 /2008 and Covid. Hard to do when you don’t know how to run what is a very competitive business.
