Thank you very much for your feedback. Social media has been a great thing in that it allows the public ready access to information that was not accessible in years past. Unfortunately it also allows anyone to broadcast untruths that are difficult to defend.
Yes we have a very clean factory, yes we dress our staff with free top end clothing and ask that they dress professionally. Yes we offer to tailor them.
We are focused on the training and advancement of any employee who is willing to dedicate themselves to being better at their job. We have just recently advanced a number of employees to higher level positions and increases in pay. The key: they wanted it and they earned it. We have members of our Team that started out at near minimum wage and now earn six figures – they deserve it. To say there is no room to advance is the farthest thing from the truth.
Any manufacturing shop our size is equipped with cameras on and around the shop floor. They protect a multi-million dollar investment in machines, equipment, and most especially our employees. They are used to record real time events to assist us in evaluating our processes and in some cases identifying significant problems.
No one at Acero is staring at Cameras, this is simply not true.
We will not apologize for a handbook. This is fundamental to every company our size. A quick review will point out that a great deal of most handbooks include federal and state mandated policies and is a best practice when it comes to serving our work force.
Yes we have set lunches. We also have a time to start and end your shift, this is how we run an efficient factory....
We do recruit heavily from the tristate area and across the nation. We all know that there is a national shortage of labor for all industries, and industries where high skills are required like precision machining has been hit especially hard. We plan to never stop recruiting for the best and brightest staff.
The name Acero Precision means something very special to our customers and employees. It reflects our strong sense of pride and respect for ourselves, the shop, our products and the people we serve. We did rebrand the company once, in 1992 so the remark about name changes we do not understand.
