Pros

I have worked here for over 3 years and found managers, co-workers, and the executives to all be friendly and helpful. You feel as if you are working with family. Amazing benefits, amazing pay and excellent training. This is the place to be if you like working as part of a larger team.

Cons

Communication between the different departments could be stronger but the company continues to make strides in strengthening any inconsistencies.

Pros

Excellent benefits, leadership, culture with effective processes and procedures in place, people are respectful of one another and everyone works together.

Cons

Have not experienced any downsides so far. I've been employed here for about one year and Acero by far exceeds previous employers. Did not know a lot about Acero prior to employment here, but was impressed during the interview process and from that initial interview, I knew this was a place I wanted to work.

Pros

Great atmosphere. Managers are very laid back and approachable, even with the busy schedules they keep. So many opportunities for advancement and/or movement and is supported throughout. Upper management is very involved and knows many of the employees. Benefits, especially 401k, are very nice! Hours are great, very flexible most of the time. Very family and community oriented. They definitely try really hard to keep employees if there is a loss of contact. Absolutely loved working for this company/family and look forward to going back someday soon.

Cons

Retaining employees is great, until it becomes costly. They seem to have a hard time firing people that simply do not perform.

Very interesting post. First and foremost, we strive hard to create the most positive work environment as possible for all of our employees. Relationships at all levels of the company are encouraged and valued. Recruiting and retention are the two biggest challenges impacting the American marketplace. The post pandemic workforce is not the same workforce as just a few years ago. In addition, the next generation of workers have new ideas and new requirements that need to be addressed. These are neither positive nor negative. They are just simply the new realities facing all employers. The cost to recruit, hire and train a new employee is extremely high. We do what it takes to try and make that investment pay off for the employee and the company.
