Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are always looking for ways to continue to get better and we understand there was some frustration with changes to the commission plans that were done with the best intentions. We heard the feedback and have worked hard over the last several months to find ways to improve the compensation plan. We are thrilled to say that our recent reporting for all of our Debt Consultant (DC) commissions show that they are higher than they have been in over 5 years. We are confident that we have the right plan to incentivize our DCs to achieve their own financial goals while helping our members move forward on a path to better financial future.

Beware of layoffs

Pros

Only pro is the work life balance of being remote, however they threaten going back in the office all the time.

Cons

Beware of layoffs that have consistently happened twice per year for the last 3 years. It’s seems that someone doesn’t manage the budget properly because they do a bunch of hiring of sales folks in the summer, but start layoffs in November and then again in Q1. We’ve been told in meetings that the company is not in a good place financially so I would not trust the “best place to work” surveys. We keep being told they will re-evaluate the budget and make cuts as necessary. Doesn’t feel secure at all and there are a lot of employees looking elsewhere for a more stable company. There has not been any career opportunities for growth within the company for the last 4 years.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry your experience as of late has not met our high standards as a Best Place to Work in Phoenix 15 times. While we did recently downsize certain teams at a small scale, we continue to grow in our mission of helping thousands of members every day find their way to better financial future. In addition, more than one-third of our teammates experienced career growth and development into new positions in 2024. Please feel free to reach out to me at hmarcom@achieve.com if you'd like to discuss your concerns in more detail.

Pros

None really…maybe the training was decent

Cons

First off do not do debt relief. It’s a soulless industry. They dont care about the clients they are negotiating a debt down and rolling in 25% of their debt as fees and crushing the clients credit down to nothing. Its all bait and switch. Now for Achieve. Be prepared to listen to how many sales consiltants lives at this company were changed for the better and how you cant listen to their calls because they do shady stuff on the phone and get routed the inbound leads. The new people like me? We have to dial 200-300 dials a day on an autodialer and click a button every 10 secs to disposition the lead or else we get in trouble. Talk about insanity. The headset is wired too they dont allow wireless headsets. Get your shackles nice and tight! You are chained to your desk looking at a screen and clicking a button every 10 secs listening to about 250-295 voicemails a day and you have to wait until the voicemail is finished before you click the next lead. Soul draining! Dog work! Are we robots? Also be prepared to not have any contacts from 7-5pm because everyone else on the company is on the phones at that time and not enough leads are available. You are calling old leads going straight to voicemail. The wage is minimum. Also when you make a sale you have to wait for the company to draft the first payment ti get paid for the commission the following month…..guess what? Half the payments decline because the clients have no money in their accounts. So you lose out at over half of the people you sign up. Its a joke. I sat at my desk dialing over 250 calls and felt like each day was a waste. Dont take this job its not healthy.
