Pros

The training is amazing great way to create a bait and switch. The company is very nice but the fact you don’t make money here is horrible

Cons

This company could careless about the employees it’s a shame because the product is great. If you are single living in a RV somewhere and can live off the land after your workday yes amazing job if you can make it off 3,000$ a month take this job 120% if not turn elsewhere there are places giving way more money for the same work amount.

We're sorry to hear you felt like you couldn't make money at Achieve. We recently restructured our lead tiering system so that our employees could be more successful, and we do annual compensation reviews in order to ensure we're competitive with pay, benefits, etc. We're also proud to live our core value of Care, especially for our employees. This is just one reason why we have the Achieve Care Employee Fund where if employees have an emergency, they can apply for financial help.

Toxic Sales Managers in Lending

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Conveniently located in Tempe. Hybrid work.

Cons

The sales managers in personal loans are toxic. They demean and disparage the sales floor. They often mock employees. Many of them have been with the company for years and company leadership seems to be afraid of them. No corrective action is taken to improve the toxic culture. It just isn't worth it because the base pay is low compared to other employers in the area. They frequently change the commission plans in ways to shift more money to the company and less in the paycheck. Benefits are just ok. Stingy with vacation. Healthcare is expensive. The sales floor is sort of diverse, but the management team is not at all. It is not a welcoming environment.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on your experience with management. We're proud to invest in our leadership tools and training and have plans to roll out an updated leadership model that will further define clear expectations. The behaviors you describe are certainly not acceptable at Achieve.

Pros

Smart, caring leadership High expectations Low ego and minimal (if non-existent) politics Great people and interesting work Good work/life balance Hybrid and remote office options

Cons

Suggest bringing some functions together and making R&R very clear as, otherwise, the way we're structured creates unnecessary competition or tension.
