Pros

I have worked at Addison Group for a while now and the culture is expectational. I work with great people who value me both as a coworker and friend. Every leader I have worked under has been incredibly supportive of my growth and they have provided me with anything I need to succeed. The job can be challenging but I know that I have the resources and people I need to be successful here. I have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in employee resource groups. The DEI initiatives have been very welcoming and educational. I hope they continue to expand more in this area as it has been a great community to meet other people in the company that I otherwise would have never met.

Cons

Being a sales driven company, the work life balance is not for everyone and Addison Group would heavily benefit from establishing company wide remote/hybrid policies. Every team seems to have a different work from home policy and this can cause tension from other teams that are expected to be in office more. I would say pretty much every job here could work remote but some managers have strict in office only policies. I also think that starting salaries for recruiters and bdms are rather low. I know the compensation should be mostly reflected in their commission but some people may struggle to live comfortably when just starting the job.

I've worked at Addison Group going on 7 years now and can confidently say that there are multiple avenues for growth. I have had the opportunity to start at the bottom and move into management. From when I first started, the training has improved significantly. PTO is unlike many other companies (especially with longevity) allowing for me to enjoy time off. Work-life balance with remote/hybrid opportunities. As well as the ability to shut off my computer at the end of the day and not feel tied to emails/phone calls. Recognition has also improved over time with the new monthly, quarterly, and yearly initiative.

Cons

Transparency could be improved. Quicker decision making. Higher pay.
