Pros

5 years ago this company was great to work for.

Cons

Customers get better discount than team members Good luck if you want to Advance Gm position use to not have a cap. Guess what there is one this year Amount of hours given to the store is a joke. Hard to grow the business Gm position is a glorified sales job. With a lot more responsibly but is hard to make decisions due to constraints. Bonus program was awesome 4-5 years ago. We were talking 2k a month to a 300 bonus. Which is impossible to hit Working hours are ridiculous 7-6 and closing Friday's 10:30-9:30. Good luck trying to get a lunch in.

Pros

The store teams are mostly top notch. Company is solid financially. Fairly easy for a good team member to move up through the ranks at the store level if they have a good GM....but no help beyond there. At long last there is a new CEO!!! Also finally stopped the automatic write up lunacy for TM's with low Sales Per Hour totals. Customers are pretty cool for the most part and you will definitely learn a lot about cars.

Cons

Promotions from the store level to DM or CAM are done via pretzel logic....if you're a lousy GM or CAM and are of no value in a store the door is open for a promotion to DM. If you're a great GM or Parts Pro you will die where you stand. This is due to there being so few great GM's or Parts Pros. The bonus programs are laughably bad. Legitimate raises are a rumor without politicking like Hillary or Trump. All core positions at the store level are drastically underpaid. Company is way too top heavy in overpaid management which is why store labor hours are kept to a skeletal level. This causes neverending store turnover and customer service problems which explains the sales and profit issues the company has had.

Pros

Great training if your hungry for it. The training you will experience ranges from automotive systems, basic retail, operations, finance, and human resources.

Cons

Long retail hours; comes with the territory. Advancement slow once you reach a position of store manager. The company is in a transition period right now after a new CEO as well as a big acquisition.
