Pros

Most customer are great, very fast pace no down time. The day flies by.

Cons

no feedback from upper management. no communication from district lead. you must be self motivated, because you won't hear a positive comment.

Pros

- A good place to work if you have a passion for all things automotive and enjoy helping customers troubleshoot and solve problems - Good benefits - Promote from within

Cons

- As a GM, I frequently worked 60-70 hours a week and typically at least 6 days a week. This made it difficult to do anything but work. By breaking down my salary plus average bonus, I quickly realized my hourly assistant manager was making more per hour than I was. - Constantly changing procedures often lead to a disorganized store. Largely due to the lack of hours to properly train the staff, on those changes. - Inflexible schedule for the GM's. We were told what days we could and could not take off. On the days we were allowed to take off, it was not uncommon to have to go help at another store or perform an inventory. - Lack of support from middle and upper management.

Pros

Interacting with and helping the customers.

Cons

Training is basically when GM has time along with monthly videos online. SPH program based mainly on salary/experience rather than mean general income of the surrounding area of the store and prior year sales. Scheduling and traffic flow greatly affect the SPH in a negative way. Seems all that is cared about is the stores sales/bottom line and not the employees as it used to be. SPH program is a good tool to be used to get rid of the high salaried/long term employees and bring in lower paid employees. Hard to make your sales goal/bonus as opposed to what is told to you when recruited/hired.
