Pros

This is an excellent training opportunity; with that experience, you can transition to a more substantial job outside of a call center. The demands in such centers can be exhausting, leaving you drained.

Cons

Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial for overall well-being. When work dominates our lives, it can lead to stress, which in turn affects both physical and mental health1. Striving for equilibrium between professional and personal spheres is essential. Here’s what we mean by work-life balance: It’s about managing your professional responsibilities while ensuring you have ample time for a fulfilling personal life. Balance doesn’t necessarily mean a 50/50 split; it’s about finding what works for you. Individual perceptions of balance vary based on personal needs and circumstances. Why is work-life balance important? Health: An imbalanced work-life situation can lead to stress-related health issues. Relationships: Long work hours can strain personal relationships. Happiness: Prioritizing balance contributes to overall happiness. Remember, it’s not about perfection; it’s about finding a balance that feels right for you. If needed, discuss well-being with your boss and explore opportunities that offer more flexibility

Pros

I made some friends with my co workers, I got to learn new things and projects that I find will be useful in finding a career in the future. They pay PTO, You get a paid lunch and 2 30 minute breaks.

Cons

Consistently sending faulty equipment then they get upset when your equipment isn't working right and your in idle. Supervisors that don't want to do their job and will lie to save their own selves. Cut throat and toxic behavior from the company and the contract company. A great Lack of communication among supervisors with each other and regular employees. I was given lies that I would get a dollar raise per year. It was remote only since I was hired during covid 19. I started a job with the thought that I could move up eventually. I end up becoming one of the best top performer's and always helped others. Out of the blue one day were told that we can't work our project and had no work for 6 months but was told to sign in. It came out later that someone messed up with confidential information and those people got fired but that took one of our jobs that we were able to do for this other business we contracted with. We then got put onto another project and things were going well for a while. Then out of the blue the company we contracted with had our company fired a bunch of employees from our department under a different supervisor that messed up some things that cost the company a lot of money. Then little by little I noticed a lot of act employees getting let go from the contract company. When we finally got a raise but it was only because minimum wage went up to 17 an hour. Later our supervisor we had for years and was close to got fired for no reason. They decided to appoint the helping supervisor as our supervisor and that's when things got really bad. She talked down to me and many others and one person quit because of the bullying they were getting from the new supervisor. At some point little by little I really did not want to be there anymore. Then we got new supervisors which never responded to emails or texts and there was no communication. I got called and told I was being let go because I lived to far from the office. Considering that I got hired on remote only, did not make sense at all. I was told I would be given a letter of recommendation but when it came down to it they said they couldn't do it so they basically lied. Most of the higher ups act overly friendly which is micro aggressive but never really giving any real kindness. Most of us stayed because we cared about our supervisor and team, we had for a long time.
