      Pros

      Pros are the flexibility in scheduling for those that are part time, flexing out hours for full time, also competitive wages, resource materials on site and a growing company website with resources related to correctional healthcare. Great clinical knowledge provided by supervisors.

      Cons

      While weekly contact requirements for Mental Health can sometimes feel redundant if nothing "major" is happening the great clinical knowledge and immense understanding of the criminal justice system from supervisors helps guide safety decisions and complex clinical cases.

      Pros

      I recently started with ACH and was so happy with their initial on-boarding process and professionally friendly approach to interviewing. The team I am working with is genuinely caring about making a solid long-lasting relationship match between MH professional and the facility in which we work. They are very up front about this and stress its importance. I am very happy with the hourly rate and flexibility of scheduling hours at my facility. Training is over ACH basic expectations and facility knowledge and the team takes a friendly approach at providing this information so that one understands it.

      Cons

      I wouldn't consider it a con, but what applicants may want to know: serving populations in rural areas, you may not have much face to face with your team as we work remotely (at our assigned facility and then submit billing from home). I prefer this, so again, for me this is not a con; others might prefer more contact with co-workers and the team but feel connected via email and phone calls.

      Pros

      Flexible hours and the pay is good. They offer many CEU opportunities for providers and will pay for travel to attend. Autonomy but they provide you with guidelines to help with situations that you may not be used to

      Cons

      You have to be able to practice independently. Being on call 24 hours per day
