Benefits get worse every year. Pay is low. Managers/Supervisors rotate through constantly, although you might not notice as they're typically absent. Most have no technical background, and won't be able to help you if there's a problem. Managers also typically will fight to keep wages or raises low, and aren't willing to negotiate with your customer on your behalf. Personal and technical development are very poor, although they have a number of very basic classes you can take.

The problem is that these guys are slaves to Caterpillar. Caterpillar employees and contractors are demanding and having to fulfill even the most stupid request like setting up an Outlook email even though CAT uses Lotus Notes is mind boggling. In addition the upper management isn't helpful at all and all they do is tell you to look at the documents for certain problems. Terrible company, terrible management and they've fired new employees because they didn't meet their ridiculous standards
