ACE- A great introduction into the work force.

-ACE Program allows you to interact with senior leaders of the company -Retail track gives you the foundation you need to know about the CPG Industry -For a program designed for recently graduated college students, the pay rate is right on track -Supportive coworkers who help you to succeed -Really depends on which office you get placed as to your experience which is good and bad. Not exactly a uniform program where each LDA receives the same experience.

Cons

-Retail gets old real fast and you start to lose motivation the farther you go along -Sometimes searching for work to do in the office leading to a loss of productivity -ACE Projects do not give good direction at the beginning and you often have to search for answers. -Not enough career opportunites as you move on from the program

ASM Review: Young Professional

Pros

-In the past 5 years, ASM has gotten serious about future talent, and as a young professional, the opportunity here is endless. I've been with the company less than 2 years and have been promoted twice, including a 35% pay raise. Progression of their young associates is a serious topic for ASM, and if accepted to their developmental program, you're sure to be satisfied with their commitment to you and your career. -They also allow you a flexible schedule and fair vaction time. My boss's boss in my first role(entry level) was adiment that when you're on vacation, lunch, or even just the weekend, work is not permitted and that most everything can wait until you're back on the clock. This made the work/life balance great.

Cons

-ASM has +30,000 employees under their numerous banners, so naturally, some roles/employees are overlooked and neglected more than others. -You could look at two possitions, one almost indistinguishable from the other, yet the work load, pay, and quality of management/training could be very very different. -Role depending, you may be required to store and/or carry a large amount of display and merchandising material both at home and in your car. I lived in a small studio during my first year and had boxes in a small corner stacked to the ceiling.

There are always opportunities to expand your skillset with Advantage by volunteering for special projects.

Cons

Working for Advantage is seldom an 8-hour work day. Meeting demands from clients can often seem like fighting an uphill battle.
