Pros

The pay is good and most departments are offering big sign on bonuses.

Cons

Where do I begin. Business model seems to be keep units short staffed to maintain greater than 100% productivity. PCU is consistently 5:1 some of the 5 on vents, ratio and ICU routinely has 3. On PCU charges Have their own patients so nurses have no resources. At least once a shift a nurse cries because her assignment is too heavy. Turnover rates are horrible and leadership doesn’t even care. Leadership is rude and disrespectful.

Support from the executive team to facilitate daily operations, great staff, excellent leadership team, and opportunity for growth within the hospital and organization.

Cons

Can be difficult to recruit staff to the area until people see how beautiful it is in Ocala.
