Pros

Max is an incredible CEO and believes in the company mission.

Cons

Little to no leadership from direct management and initiates are all reactive. Very little proactive efforts and little to no direction. They don't use OKR's, KPI's or define any kind of benchmark goals other than "reaching profitability". Hired as part of an acquisition with no thought from leadership on how I would fit in or what I would be doing.

Bad Managers, Bad at DEI

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

- good benefits - nice co workers

Cons

- bad managers are allowed to stay at their job and there is no recourse if your manager sucks - very bad at DEI and treating women and people of color well, lots of advertising about DEI which makes the majority (people not from these groups) feel like Affirm is doing a lot but it's largely lip service and unpaid work being done by people from these communities
