Pros

Affirm is a mission driven organization with a very directed focus on creating honest financial products for people. The teams all work hard to drive towards achieving the mission. Also, in times of crisis / need, the teams always find a way to rally together to deliver.

Cons

While one of the organization's main pillars is transparency, it's often very lacking in the organization, especially when it comes to the evaluation process. Decisions on a large org were ultimately made by a small group, without any ability to contribute to ratings, even for your staff. Also, the organization always touts that it's a "start-up", but as a publicly traded company for 2+ years, the company needs to start thinking about building processes that will last vs. always patching things together last minute to make it work.

- good health benefits - away days (most people work them still)

Cons

- authoritarian leadership, ask for opinions but don't really care or consider them - leaders do not empower - lack of recognition for hard work - company not keeping up with inflation and rising prices - no bonuses and no 401k contribution
