Pros

- Opportunity to lead and grow on teams handling non-legacy code and projects

Cons

- Excessive push for unrealistic deadlines with terribly under scoped projects. - 5 team members spread between multiple projects with little to no members working on the same one. On top of that, many random asks, tasks, and questions. - Legacy codebase is over engineered, spaghetti, and breaking every other hour making development a slog. - Had no say in what the team wanted to work on when we were reorged into maintaining and being a dumpster for legacy code and tools they don't want to work on anymore. - No leadership and management does not seem to care about burnout and disengagement until almost everyone is ready to coast or leave dropping productivity. - Benefits and days off are being cut or dwindling to that of any other company and worse than some in some aspects to decrease spends and increase stock value.

Pros

Benefits, Perks, Compensation, Company vision, proximity to downtown but not actually down town.

Cons

Do not work in the Pittsburgh office. The upper management lead contrary to the company values. They view questions as challenge to their authority. They do not take accountability to learn anything about the product or the day to day of the employees they lead. One of the companies core values is against fine print; all the leadership team does is sequester the flow of information. We are chained to our desks and are not allowed to go to diversity meetings or training's on business expense systems. The managers and director also steal knowledge from my team members and sell them in meetings and emails (to other stakeholders) as their information; however, they don't know anything about the processes or procedures. The managers coerce agents that are involved in interviews to agree with their view of candidates before my peers would get a chance to submit objective/unbiased feedback. Some higher levels of agents are working but not getting paid. There's a glitch in payroll and certain people are not getting paid overtime when they should be. The training is not great, out of date materials and and old school lecture based training.

Pros

Great place if you like to enjoy some free perks.

Cons

As designers don't ever work here the culture is about pushing as many features as you can in a quester. There is no thinking related behind any feature just copy/paste from what others are doing. They don't like creative people but just people who are doers as the management likes you to just blindly follow them. Design Directors don't have much to add. Please don't work here if you want to build a career.
