Pros

PTO when it's available can be beneficial. The overtime is plentiful, and free coffee. You can move to different departments when there are openings, and there's always something for you to look into

Cons

Like previously, overtime is so plentiful- it becomes inconveniently mandatory. You sign up for overtime and they throw more onto your schedule with very short notice. They expect you to be like robots- perfect scorecards, emotionless, and able to take continuous abuse without breaking down. Have an emergency? Here's a written warning or a final to add-on to your stresses. You can move around to distant projects BUT most times they just throw you around expecting perfection immediately. Customers are one thing, but their contracted vendors are another. Rude, arrogant, and most are never available though they are nearby. Chest pains at your desk? Ask security for a Tylenol. Honestly, this job is good for a short time, but long term has negative effects on your emotions, mental state, and actual physical health.

Pros

It does provide you with a paycheck.

Cons

Anyone that is actually on the phone at this job is provided with a base rate of pay and an *almost unachievable bonus structure. They dont offer a set schedule even if youve been an employee for 2-3 + years if your doing regular customer service. Management has no clue what is going on most of the time, and paid time off isnt approved even when you have the extra hours to cover it. This job claims to be a "family owned company" ,they wouldnt give me time off when my family came to visit with 3 months advanced noticed.. The objective at "Agero" is to have you take a call as fast as possible to save them money, and to judge your stats off of customer service surveys which mind you are taken by a majority of people broken down on the side of the road. The company rips off its contracted service providers by not paying out claims and its own employees by not paying bonuses.Agero has representatives pretend to be working for a company they are not while on the phone which also bothers me. Hopefully the company keeps losing money.. It isnt somewhere anyone would want to work.

Layoffs are defacing the culture

Pros

Used to have great leadership and a place that had a wonderful work family atmosphere. Agero supported the corporate giving committee for contributions giving back to their local communities.

Cons

Layoffs have impacted loss of great leadership and many departments closed all together. Four call centers that were in the North American locations are now being outsourced.
