Ramesh knows how to balance a companies financial books by using one playbook - outsourcing to junior level India engineers using his loyal Indian crew from previous gigs. Not very adaptive. Business model is setting the company up for product instability and failure to retain the core customers that keep the company afloat. Across all product lines they have trimmed snd overworked support and turned their R&D department into direct support. Product throughput has reduced by over 50%. If your looking to be a engineer be ready to be a customer call person. Delivering in product features so fast they are at best pre-alpha stable. Their new tech services, a custom development division, full of non-product knowledgeable low level entry devs, break products do bad customers are on the verge of dropping multi million dollar deals. All this is stoking the fire of escalations which perpetuates reduced in-product development. Application life cycle development is still in toddler phase. Product lines have a lot of potential , but until they can figure out how to run a well oiled software business, keeping the lights on will be all they can do. Focused on small short term deals with mountains of technical debt. Some product lines use technologies that were obsolete 20 years ago. Little tough to run with a warm out shoe. Too much to list...
