Pros

O/T available. Having a paycheck.

Cons

Management is out of touch, huge turnover in United Rotorcraft. Corporate management holds grudges against people you know and will take it out on you. Uses UR as a relief valve to show financial increases, lots of lay offs, no job security. No communication whether it be departmental or interdepartmental in UR. Zero on time deliveries, horrible atmosphere, unhappy employees. No training. Pretty much run, don't walk, away from this company. Almost certainly former employees probably have a degree of PTSD from working here. I wish I were exaggerating.

Pros

Was with the company for 5 years but all the real growth has been the last year. Fun challenges Some flexibility with schedules as remote work is allowed sometimes. Learning environment- the senior director will always take time to provide coaching and resources.

Cons

If you are coming in as leadership training is minimal because they expect you to be a self starter, need to reach out to fellow members of leadership rather than expect them to have a book telling you everything you need to know. There is a disconnect between corporate leadership and leadership directly in control of production. Don't expect a lot of live work balance, it was not uncommon for me to keep working till 2 AM from home to keep up with the workload. TOO MANY MEETINGS- and then a follow up meeting about how there are too many meetings.
