Pros

Base culture usually determined most pros for working at Air Methods. Overall, it was a great company to work for. Secure job as long as your base is getting enough flights.

Cons

No big cons.

Pros

High clinical standards, great scope of practice

Cons

Management is a joke, mostly just hire burnt out line employees, favoritism is rampant, cliques and bff’s get all the opportunity. If you’re not one of the popular people good luck getting base transfers, promotions, or even having things you need handled on time. They let bad base managers stay in positions, the company makes new policies that never better the line employee’s life, only works out for management and the bottom line. They don’t care about anyone. You’re just a name and number and they’ll toss you out like trash if they don’t like you. I’m a current employee and have never been in trouble. So this isn’t some comment made by a bitter trouble maker. There is also pressure to fly, direct and indirect.
