Pros

Collaborative culture, friendly employees, there are some good talents within the company.

Cons

Lack of Strategy, lack understanding of root cause of issues before coming up with resolution. It’s a white boy’s club. Most decisions are made behind curtains with CEO back channeling to achieve personal goals. Lost 2 female executives we respect greatly within a week.

Pros

Strong product and continues to stay competitive in the changing market.

Cons

I really enjoy the product we put out to our customers. We work with some of the leading companies in the world and help them succeed! The cons that really stand out is management. There are some folks that manage people that have zero experience in doing so. You have some folks that have been with the company for nearly 10 years and is only in their position based on seniority not necessarily skill. You have folks that have the title but only work within their click, sort of like mean girls. You some folks that are the Van Wilder of Airship. They think they're the most popular but only to their team of "yes" folks. You have folks that talk like they read the most recent hot leadership book only to fail miserably whenever they are challenged by some that have outside work experience. You have folks that think they're The Rock, when they're just a pebble. These folks unfortunately have the title of VP/GM and while they are very experienced with Airship, have no real experience outside of the organization. I understand it's always better to hire within for financial reasons (someone that has been with the company for 5+ years will never command someone from outside of the organization's salary requirements. Unfortunately, this will create a rift between the old guard and newer, more seasoned professionals.

Pros

Remote working. There are still great employees with the company that choose to tolerate the grossly lacking Management team.

Cons

Detachment between Senior Management teams with business and GTM strategy. Compensation is below industry standard. High turnover, a lot of current employees looking to leave. -Sales management. -BDR support. -Channel support. -SE support Expectations. -Overall lack of understanding for how to sell SaaS-based large enterprise deals. -Extremely stingy (beyond a necessary level) to the detriment of hiring top enterprise talent with years of proven experience
