The pro's do not out-weight the cons. Even though the vendors give a good discount just go shopping when things are 50% or more on clearance. Working in this corrupt environment was not worth it nor is it healthy for a human. Management is awful!! They are such a joke, the owners are very corrupt and could care less about their employees they are all for the money. They do the bare minimum to show their "appreciation" to their employees. They fire employees for no good reasons, they really believe everyone is "replaceable" and only care to keep you if you are a white male or are one of their buyers (which are all white males). If you are a woman plan on being an assistant to a male, there is no moving up past that. There is so much sexism and discrimination at this place it is wrong. It used to be a good place but as the current owner has started taking over it has become worse and more corrupt. Honestly a minimum paid job at McDonalds would be better than working at Al's for $15 an hour. Their turnover rate really shows how awful it is to work here they can not keep anyone happy enough to work for them long term. There are so many reasons I could name these are just some. But the moral of my reasons is just don't apply here, you will be much happier somewhere else.
