Pros

Sometimes you will find a few nice people. You will also learn a lot.

Cons

Supervisors are not qualified to lead people, they take all of their stress out on their analysts, creating a toxic environment. Priorities change constantly, so nothing ever gets accomplished. You can work overtime, weekends, and even take work home with you, and it will never be enough. You will never receive recognition for any of your hard work. There are people who like working at Alcami; those people have no ambition.

You can get experience in a cGMP environment. Probably not awful for someone fresh out of school for a couple of years. The bar will be set pretty low from a management perspective, so your next job should be much better.

Cons

I don't need to reiterate all that has been posted over the last month. They are mostly all true with minimal exaggeration. I have worked in the industry for about 10 years for managers of varying ages, ethnicities, backgrounds, etc. I have never seen such an attempted intimidation, fear driven management style. No matter your work ethic or results, you will likely be told you are not doing a good job. If you dare to show facts and disagree, look out. If you don't mind being told to get a babysitter so you can work weekends or find out a manager plans on "bringing you down a notch or two," then you will be able to handle this company.

You get to work with some pretty cool people but they fire as quick as they hire.

Cons

The con is the management team is horrible! It seems no matter how much they get new management in the building they fall into the same pattern being non-trustworthy, inexperienced, and conniving. The name change from AAI to Alcami did not improve anything.
