Upper management doesn't seem to care or have the time to care for their teams. ELT only cares about bottom lines and making money. The rumor mill is rampant and no one stops it or confronts it. Employees, especially those in lab and manufacturing, are overworked. Salaried employees are making the same as hourly employees even though they are working the same hours. There is no gratitude for jobs well done. More work is always expected. Employees who have been there for 20+ years are starting to quit because of the atmosphere. And everyone is still pretty mad about the desk situation. We are treated like robots.

WARNING!! Unsafe work environment for employees due to the following: ineffective systems, lack of leadership in management, and incompetency of EHS department. Near misses and documented injuries are frequent and covered up on a day to day basis. ELT's primary focus is to make themselves look good via metrics, overlooking the current state of safety. Incidents are not spoken about and not corrected. Employees are not made aware when incidences occur, therefore not learning from their mistakes. Employees often do not report near misses due to the fear of losing their job and/or of retribution from management. Due to inadequate staffing employees are often overworked and not trained. This leads to mistakes made and increased risk of near misses. Workers are pushed to get product out the door not factoring in that speed increases mistakes and safety incidents. ELT main concern is getting product out the door. Safety is second. Safety standards are overlooked or not followed increasing the risk of possible hazardous and unsafe conditions for employees. EHS is playing a game of Russian roulette. You dont want to be the worker in the wrong place at the wrong time. Due to lack of personel, manufactureres multi-task which increase the likelihood of an accident occurring. Alcami is an Accident Waiting to Happen.
