Pros

Employees at any level find ways to take advantage of the disorganization. Great experience for those struggling to get lab experience.

Cons

Upper management is out of touch and are disorganized. Production level jobs are shuffled without the forethought of . There's no sick leave. Few job advancements except for the fact that turn over is so high that there's always a supervisor or management level position to fill. Overall a difficult place to work.

Pay is decent, made some good friends

Cons

It doesn't matter about your work ethic, it's all about who you know. There is also a lot of favoritism. Some move up more quickly than others all just on the basis of who they know. Managers never go back in the lab but have the audacity to submit a yearly review. They also keep hiring people with no moral standards and it is very scary. The training program there is absolutely horrendous

Okay for experience but horrible for career progression

Pros

Working for a company whose products support scientific advancement and the betterment of humanity.

Cons

- A lot of empty promises. Barely any raise or recognition for efforts. - Emphasis on cross-training for career progression, even when an individual performs job duties exceptionally. - HR uses the yearly bonus to lower the base salary during negotiations. Don't fall for that BS, bonus is not guaranteed to be paid in full. They have enough money to pay you. They're paying contractors double to do the same job. - The "NEED" to be in a certain position for 12-18 months before even being considered for other positions within Aldevron or Danaher as a whole.
