Pros

you're a permanent employee from the start lots of talented people

Cons

- benefits is bad, no insurance - micromanaged alot - company is into the most hyped tech without depth - they'll promise timelines that are not attainable which in turn developers have to meet by doing unpaid OT - attrition rate is horrible - will work a lot on random stuff without prior planning and direction

Bad management

Business Outlook

Pros

They have many annual event Free lunch every Friday Good salary provided - Paid overtime (but not much)

Cons

- Achieving a promotion isn't about competence; being difficult and demanding seems to attract more attention. - Working over the weekends and public holidays is the bare minimum expectation for being considered a satisfactory employee. - The HR department functions more like an event planning committee, showing little genuine concern for the well-being of employees. - The management team lacks true leadership qualities. - There is an absence of clear standards, leading to consistently biased judgments. - They give clients unreasonable deadlines and don't care how the team will meet them. - There is a kingdom within the kingdom, where certain groups can do anything they want.

Dear Alephian, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are committed to creating a high-performing, transparent and collaborative environment for all our employees, so we are disappointed to hear about some of your experiences. We appreciate the feedback you have provided and we will keep them in mind when reviewing our ability to provide an amazing experience to our employees. Due to the nature of our business, working over the weekends is highly unavoidable due to delivery schedules. We do provide off-in-lieu for Alephians who had worked over the weekend and/or public holidays. Nevertheless, do note that we do not encourage working overtime unless there are any emergency situations. We cherish family/personal time as much as you do. People are our top priority and should never be overlooked. We hope this will help to clarify your misunderstandings of us. Should you wish to reach out to us in the future, please feel free to do so. Good luck with your future endeavours nevertheless. Thank you.
