Pros

Growing company, opportunities abound for all who seek them. Looking forward to a long career here.

Cons

A lot of 'old guard' in place who have had similar jobs with some of the same people at other airlines. This is good and bad, but could make it harder for others to move up, and also harder to say goodbye when it needs to be done.

Pros

I love working for Allegiant. They provide competitive pay, yearly raises and bonuses, flight benefits, and decent medical coverage. Great working environment with lots of fun activities throughout the year. I can see myself with this company for more years to come.

Cons

I wish they gave move PTO per year, but even then it is still 3 weeks which is good. My husband works for a similar company based in Las Vegas (minus the airline portion) and they give 6 weeks of PTO with personal days.

Pros

Company business model has been very good. Makes lots of money for the company, not necessarily the employees. Lots of complaints from passengers; Hard to say if they are right or just crabbing out of spite.

Cons

The location - Vegas is NOT the greatest city to live in for work. Too much focus on tourism leaving a lot to be desired other locales enjoy IE: Restaurants you would find in many other large or even suburban locations. The pay in form of benefits - while actual pay in $ is good, for my position it strongly lacks in regards hours work. We work more than anyone else in our position at peer airlines. We are also hourly vs. salary exempt which something else enjoyed by our peers. The software - Someone from another airline would probably laugh at our disorganized system. It takes all 3 major web browsers for those in my position to complete our job and our glorious Windows 95 based software program for tracking some functions doesn't talk with more modern software or make things efficient. Don't expect to non-rev on Allegiant when everyone else wants to travel for leisure. Expect to be the very bottom non-rev class on other airlines.
