Pros

Trainings, certifications that they demand you get might be helpful at your next job. The pay is higher then most of the agencies, and the benefits are the county and state pension

Cons

LOTS !!! You are set up to fail month after month after month when they know that it is not even humanly possible to do all they require and demand!! You will be driving at least 2-3 k miles or more in a month for community visits. The amount of documentation that is required to be completed for this visits is hard but it is impossible to actually follow up to ensure that the client gets what they need with all of the driving. I had 83 clients the last month I was there. All work has to be in at the last day of the month including meetings, phone assessments, desk reviews, quarterly assessments, on time and it all has to happen between 8:30 AM and 5:15 PM. NO flexibility at all everything is time stamped so don't send a email, make a phone call, or complete a note after the allotted working hours, or you will getting trouble for it. NO overtime, but they still expect you to get all of your visits, phone calls, emails, notes, assessments, monitoring and driving ( at least 3 hours a day) by the end of the month for 83 people from Pineville, to Lincolnton, to Cornelis , on top of this the demand all of these additional trainings and certifications be completed. They gave employees a cost of living adjustment . but it was applied unequally with some employees getting 2%, and some got 1%, some got none!! This was to be "FAIR"
