Pros

Immediate manager cared. Ability to try new ideas.

Cons

Constantly anticipating cuts, hiring freezes, pay deductions, and layoffs. Revolving door of incompetent VPs. Took every perk of working there away from discounted machines to stock options and everything in between.

Corporate culture is very murky

Pros

Pay & benefits. You do get decent vacation time.

Cons

Management has become very arrogant. The CEO warned of arrogance, but it is happening anyway. The identity of the company changes everyday, they can't figure out what they really want to be. Another problem is a lack of a clear direction, there is no policy. Training is non-existent. It seems as if many in management are unqualified for the position they have. There is no consistency from one manager to the next. Don't plan on being promoted unless you are friends with management, prior experience has no bearing on advancement. If you have a strong attention to detail, prepare to be frustrated on a daily basis by sloppy and error filled work by others. Some managers will pretend to look the other way passing you in the hall to avoid saying "good morning".

Pros

Competitive Salary, but horrible work/life balance. You can have all the money in the world, but if you can't even have your weekends to enjoy life, then what the hell work for hard for - for them?

Cons

Production workers FORCED into MANDATORY OT, with less than 24 hours notice. If you had made plans months prior for a family get away for example, they did not care! If you didn't cancel your plans and agree to be there for OT, you would be written up with points! Very unfair to workers!
