      Bad Place to work - period -

      Good Pay, Good benefits, Free Coffee.

      Cons

      You are hired as an inventory technician then you end up processing tissue from newly past away tissue donors - meaning muscle and bone stripped of the skin in plastic bags that often leak. If blood and tissue gross you out - stay away. You are also told they promote and hire from within which is just not true. You are trained by coworkers who don't want you to be better than them so you have to figure out the software for yourself. This place was the worst job I ever had. glad I left.

      Our inventory technicians do not process tissue donors, rather they receive tissue or move tissue to specific locations. Working in tissue processing can be physically demanding and we are clear with potential applicants about what the job entails. Due to the nature of our work, employees in certain roles (like tissue processing) are exposed to human tissue. We are proud that we promote from within for many, but not all roles. Many of our current Directors and Vice Presidents started in frontline positions and have been promoted due to their dedication to our mission and excellence in terms of what they accomplish in their day-to-day work in addition to the behaviors they model. We appreciate the work you did for us and wish you the best.

      Coworkers are usually a bonus at this company, good hours and room for growth in terms of raises and responsibility

      Fairly corporate and standardized mindset which isn't a surprise in a factory-like setting

      It's a great starting job to get into the biotech/cGMP industry. Bonuses most years Low levels of responsibility

These include, as a few examples: Train the Trainer, Courageous Conversations training, the 5 Dysfunctions of Teams, and HR focused training for managers. Our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meets regularly, as well as periodic meetings with HR and Core Supervisors, all iteratively augmenting training needs and issues. We conduct an annual review of salaries and analyze both nonprofit and for-profit companies in comparative industries to help ensure we offer competitive pay.
