Pros

Coworkers and schedule are great

Cons

Management doesn't care about employees AT ALL - very disrespectful and out of touch. Always finding ways to prevent paying employees what they deserve and treating us like drones. They say they will promote from within, but people have been working here 10+ years and still do not get these opportunities

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. AlloSource employees are required to complete the standard application process internally and must meet the minimum requirements to be considered for a job or promotion. Our employees tend to stay with AlloSource for a long period of time, so it can take time for some positions to become available, but we work to promote our employees whenever possible. Our technicians are valued employees, and management appreciates the hard work they do to honor the gift of tissue donation and help patients heal.

Pros

Good benefits is about the only thing I can possibly think.

Cons

I absolutely hated working here. If you get hired into the core, prepare for some serious manual labor. Management could care less about the harm you could potentially be doing to your body, and instead focus on increasing production and efficiency. The amount of micro management in all departments is preposterous, enough to make anyone want to quit. The company attempts to foster employee engagement by shoving mantras down your throat such as 'what you do matters,' when really you are expendable to them and they will replace you as soon as you slow down or become inefficient. If you think you will be honing your biology/chemistry skills, think again.
