Pros

Innovation was cherished and promoted on the team I was a part of. When I first joined the team, leadership was amazing. Then....it downgraded really quickly.

Cons

No gratitude from leadership. Lack of taking care of people. When some of the best developers are voicing concerns, have an ear and respect their input instead of pushing them out the door.

If you like to coast, this is the job for you.

Cons

I work with the "tech" group of Allscripts, but really, we're not. We're so focused on theory and academia that our tech stack is extremely outdated. It's so outdated that we're having a hard time hiring new developers into our group.
